Charming & characteristic store. Awesome ammareti's! The service is personal and informative but be aware though.."this box is 12.50" but with us and everyone else in our line it ended up being more than 12.50. We felt a little bit cheated by the friendly lady behind the counter "its a little bit more" was the case with everyone. But than... More

This is a very small shop that makes biscuits the way that their grandmothers did. I like chewy not dry biscuits so I asked the lady and we purchased a few. They don't use flour per say. Its all from almond flour and not wheat. They will let you try before you purchase. Its not a traction but you have... More

We went to Durke as per recommendation from LP. Sorry - the quality is nothing special at all ! You can buy better quality, and more flavoursome, and more cheaply, in several places (including mercatos) in Cagliari and other towns in Sardinia. OK, we were fresh to Sardinia, and we were given a sample to try. But sorry guys, don’t... More

Even if you don't eat the delicious Sardinian biscuits, you must savour the ambiance of this little shop with its aga-type oven that takes up the back wall. It is easy to find in the old quarter near the colonnades. And he service is most informative.

We walked up from the waterfront and was attracted by their set up - a small bakery shop that looked like those domestic bakery shops in my home town where decent bakery products were make in a traditional way. This is a must see location. My wife tried one of their samples and gave good comments to them. I purposely... More

I read about Durke on TripAdvisor and kept asking my friends in Cagliari to take me there. They'd never heard of it and pooh-poohed it a little when I showed them how popular it was on travel sites. Then, one of them realized that they'd been there before when it was in another location and that it was a good... More

This is a cute little bakery we stumbled upon while walking around Cagliari. The ladies are very sweet and friendly and make the best little cookies and sweets. Their story is really great with so much history. You must stop by and bring home some goodies!

This is a little bakery that makes delicious sweets from Sardinia. This is a family owned bakery and I got to meet 2 of the sisters who help manage the store. They explained how their mother started the bakery and also how the recipes were passed from generations ago. There are only a handful of ingredients which make this very... More

Amazing biscuits- make sure you visit this place. Lovely store on via napoli. The biscuits are delicious and beautifully displayed. The woman who runs the store is very helpful and welcoming. Amaretti were my favorite.

If you are visiting Cagliari..you have to go there to taste this sweets in this very traditional "pasticeria". No artificial flavor, everything is made from scratch...a lot of flavor! You will find there the best Amarettes (almond pastries), Pardulas (ricotta and lemon)....and much more. They are selling this in box of 400 g and you can ask for a mix... More
