Excellent well-labelled examples of plants shown. A good variety of well kept mature and younger plants was arranged for optimum viewing. Some of the trees were gigantic.

Admission is only 2 EUR by showing your ticket from Su Nuraxi di Barumini. Located next to the Roman Amphitheatre, away from the old town. Apart from the interesting plants, don't miss the roman remains around the site. Check their free plan, so as not...More

Plants and flowers from all around the world. Species well marked with details of their origin. Watch out for man-eating insects!

There wasn’t a great deal to see in Cagliari so we visited here. It was better than I expected and we spent an enjoyable hour there. The tunnels were a surprise - quite spooky. We also visited the Roman amphitheatre round the corner - also...More

Fantastic trees, Roman artifacts including a Roman Quarry, greenhouses, and much more. A great place for visiting on a hot day

Great collection of plants, especially the greenhouse with the fantastic succulent collection. But follow the identifiers on the brochure to see everything, including the Pampanini Fountain in the back and the surprising remnants of Roman ruins. Well worth a visit!

Our visit of the botanical gardens of Cagliari helped us to relax a bit. The ancient cistern is really a must see. Some papyrus plants in a tank are also worthwhile. Do not expect crowds as mass tourism has not discovered this calm place yet....More

Incredible variety of plants which are uniformly well labeled. A nice mix of historical elements (e.g. the end of the Roman viaducts, the Roman Cistern/cave) plants and supporting elements like the nursery and greenhouses. Impressive amount of buildings around the garden perimeter supporting the work....More

We enjoyed our time visiting the Botanical Gardens. The gardens were beautiful and well maintained and the admission price was reasonable. I was however, a little disappointed that the signs describing plants were mostly in Italian. I would think that a place that caters to...More
