You cannot climb this tower but it tells the tale of boundaries defended. It is now part of the castle district. If you want to walk up this type of tower look to the elephant tower ... but don't be susceptible to vertigo.

A wonderful view of the city from the tower. Although, there are narrow and steep stairs to the top, I recommend it for the view.

This one looked better preserved than the elephant tower. There's more foot traffic. Angles of the tower look better from the outside of the gates. It's on one end of the medieval street on which the cathedral (duomo) is located.

This is the second of two historical towers which have lots of steps to get to the top to be greeted with a fantastic view. As long as you have the stamina for it the views are certainly worth it.

In fact there's no need to pay for this visit because you can get nice views to the city of Cagliari without paying nothing, so it really doens't worth your money.
