Completely open on one side and quite steep, open, narrow tread stairs but at least there are hand rails. Constantly changing view of the Castello area and port from each floor until you get to the top where you get 360 degree views of the whole city.

Tower of San Pancrazio is a impressive historic towel, fuul of history, just like its twin tower Torre d'Ellefante. Worth a visit strolling along old Catello.

Scale the wooden staircases to have a fantastic view (especially of the inner city and the mountains) of Cagliari. You should also consider the Elephant tower which has a better view of the port area.

It was 3 Euro per person to climb the tower. We didn't do it since we were a group of 6 and the walk up the hill from via Roma was already enough of a climb. It was cool to walk under the tower and under the huge Medieval doors. There was an elevator at the bottom of the hill... More

One of the main squares in central Cagliari is Piazza Yenne, a short 10 minute walk from the cruise ship port. Just steps away, towards the northeast corner of this Piazza, is one of three elevators that have been mentioned in previous reviews - as an easier means of avoiding the climb up some steep steps towards the higher part... Like the Torre dell'Elefante, this is a defensive tower, but it is at the highest point of the old town and this gives staggering views. You can get higher, the citadel is the highest point, but this will give you uninterrupted views of the old city and beyond.

3 euros to go up the tower, a lot of steps, quite steep in places, but definitely worth the effort. you can stop at various floors on the way up, great photo opportunities. Great views at the top of the whole area.

Amazing views from the top of here, well worth the climb, even though I had to concentrate on climbing and not looking at the steepness of the wooden stairs! I'm not generally good with heights but managed this and so pleased I did.

A tower. You climb the stairs and look out. There is vast historical interest to the tower but this isn't given or displayed, which is a shame. I enjoyed it for the views and would equally have enjoyed knowing more about the tower's history. Its €3

Nice view from the top. It's worth to visit, however, if you have a phobia for the stairs through which you can see, than you should think twice before getting up because it can be a little bit terrifying.
