We visited the market a few times during a recent trip to Sardinia. What an amazing find! Exquisite fruit and vegetables (it’s been years since I had such tasty and juicy oranges and tomatoes), brilliant cheese (try the pecorino injected with black truffle and grab...More

If you're staying in Cagliari this is probably the best place for your shopping. Prices are not cheap, but they aren't anywhere else in Cagliari either, here there is a good selection of locally produced fruit and vegetables and the fish department downstairs has reasonably...More

Great market to visit when you’re in Cagliari. But be smart and go a bit earlier than us. We didn’t know the exact times and arrive just before 14:00 when the market was already closing down.

We made the mistake of not realising that there was just food at the market. We did enjoy it and we were happy to have gone.

Two floor market, one floor with mainly fish, other floor with meat, cheese, vegetables,... We went on a Saturday noon, the market was stuffed. Great experience, would like to have this market next door at home :-)
