Yes, it is a hidden gem of Bari! You can access this from inside of the Cathedral, in the right part of the main hall. The mosaic is very well preserved / restored. Of course you will walk on a glass floor. You can spend...More

You can enter he cathedral free and it is a fairly standard building, but if you enter the undercroft, at the bottom of the stairs on the left is a hidden gem. The museum Il Succorpo ... it was 2 euros to enter and was...More

This is not a patch on the Basilica which is the religious jewel in the crown of Bari. The archaeology is mildly interesting. Like most churches in Italy its worth dropping in to see some fine workmanship but if time is limited no great reason...More

The Cattedrale di San Sabino built on 12 century on ruins of a first Imperial Byzantine cathedral destroyed in the 11 century, now it's an archeological site to visit; splendid mosaics.

Very impressive place. Although not too much interested in archeological places this place has really impressed me a lot. Very recommended. Entrance fee is 3 Euro now.

One of the most simplest Cattedrales I have ever seen- really example of the Romanove's style - very very simple everywhere- but maybe that " simple" style is giving this place so great view!!!
