Just off Corso Palladio, like all the main sights, and well worth a look. Unfortunately it can't be visited, as it became the headquarters of a bank (which I think has since gone bust).

Probably designed by Giulio Romano, the project was nevertheless revised by the ubiquitous Palladio. Grand and austere, it is the headquaters of an important bank and the venue of art exhibitions.

It is believed that Andrea Palladio built Palazzo Thiene executing a design of another architect. Today the building is occupied by the headquarter of Banca Popolare di Vicenza. Palazzo Thiene is one of the stops on the Itinerario Palladiano which is well marked and has good signage in two languages at some buildings. You can get a map of it at the tourist office near the Olympic Theater which they sell fo 1 euro or print it off the internet.

Great old Palazzo - recommended to see outside and have a look at least into the yard. Can be also visited - we had only a quick look outside.
