what an amazing theater. just marvelous. they do a short lightshow with sounds here and then that gives a great impression of the theater. this visit alone is worth the travel to Vicenza. really beautiful and definitely a must when in the region.

The main reason for our visit after making a promise to ourselves to visit here if we ever had the chance after watching John Malkovich in Ripley's Game a couple of years ago where the closing scene was filmed here. It really is awe inspiring and we were very lucky to see a light show highlighting the stage and surroundings. We really need to return to watch a performance here one day

The city of Vicenza is all about the architecture of Palladio and there’s no better place to start than a visit to the Teatro Olimpico. An informative virtual tour of the Teatro is provided with a tablet while sitting in the real thing. It’s well worth the price of admission, especially if you take advantage of one of the city’s combination passes.

I have visited this theater in different occassion, once when my friend participate the concert, 2 times with friends and 1 time with light show The job was great, it reproduce some long roman streets in 18 meter long stage, the visual effect is incredible and it was raised for more than 500 years. Really worthy.

The world's oldest covered theatre is a must see for anyone. As you enter its a real wow moment the space and architecture is amazing. If you've ever seen Wrens Sheldonian in Oxford England you can see where he got the idea from but this is on another level! Stunning!
