This was a little gem. It had a lovely feel to it and was a great little surprise amongst the many many churches in Verona

An absolutely beautiful church in the heart of old Verona. It is included in the price of a Verona card, which is worth getting if you want to see more than 3 of the main sites.

Beautiful building with remarkable stone and brickwork. We were fortunate enough to be there when the evening service for Corpus Christi was being held, for us agnostics, a pageant of costume, colour and music, quite emotional.

It was the first time I visited ancient Catholic church. I could not help not to drop my jaw when I saw it. It was a cultural shock.

While I have visited many churches in Italy, I don't always stop at every church. I was glad I went in (small fee). A lot to see and the geometric designs in stone were quite nice. Make it a stop!

If nothing else, come and sit on the pews in this church and stare at the magnificently painted ceilings. This is one of the most quietly serene and sweetly beautiful gothic churches I've ever seen (and I've seen a million!) One could BECOME religious here.

One of four churches on a joint ticket. A lovely cool haven on a hot day - it's nice to sit & contemplate all the details of the painted walls & ceilings.

Make sure you go to the church under the church - some of the ruins that are under the church are from the 3rd Century! Amazing story about it on the sign where is located,

if you are outside this church you may have doubts if it is worth to go in, but please go in. It is amazing, so beatiful. You get impressed once you are inside because it is huge and has great windows, etc.

A place really closed to God - inspiring, touching deep and magnetising. Felt sad and happy there the same time. Broke out from usual routine. A miracle happened to me here.
