I have already written a review about this museum on the listing for the Teatro. If you enjoy statues, bronze work and other historic artefacts then this is the place for you. We found some parts very interesting and some others very boring. Being followed...More

Well worth the walk through town and across the river, the museum is built adjacent to the Roman amphitheater. The city was one of the northernmost outposts of the Roman Empire and the museum has a nice collection of antiquities from marble statuary and architectural...More

as the museum had just re opened they are only charging 1 euro so can't go wrong with that price. the amphi-theater isn't much to see but the small museum has some nice artifacts. the views from the top are fantastic overlooking river and verona.

I had hoped that the construction work on this site might have been completed by now but I understand that, inevitably, the further the work progressed, the more appeared to need to be done. As it was Pasqua weekend, there was no-one present from whom...More

I revisited this site to obtain the most up to date information on the situation with any advice on the likely date of re-opening. I was advised that the work was estimated to be completed "next year" but whether that would be next July or...More

My memory of my last visit to this site was of a very impressive collection well curated. However, my memory may be all I have to rely on for some time since my visit last week revealed that work started earlier this month to protect...More
