I loved the cloisters but the architecture internally is magnificent. Free with the Verona card and you have the option of a narrative which explains everything. A lovely walk from here by the river to Castelvecchio.

One cannot leave Verona without a visit to San Zeno and I do recommend to make it at night, strolling through piazza Carrobbio, and coming into view of the majestic facade. Just complete the visit next day and go through the cathedreal and closter.

Verona is full of history and wonderful art; the basilica of San Zeno sits well among the other wonders and is worth visiting. It has a history of over 1000 years, a bronze-sculpted door, other sculptures, frescoes and a structure 9/on three levels) that make...More

I have seen a lot of cathedrals/minsters/abbeys/churches in my time and this one would certainly make my top 10. I thought it was beautiful, the audio tour is included in the admission and the basilica is covered by the Verona card (which I highly recommend)....More

Beautiful old church with plenty of history. Just a few Euro to enter and well worth it! An informative audio guide comes with the entry price

San Seno was the person who brought Christianity to the region in the 300 AD period. The church houses his remains in an illuminated coffin in the crypt. The church itself is very light and has some interesting frescoes on the walls. You have to...More

The basilica is very impressive because it is so extremely old. Unfortunately, it costs far too much entrance fee. It would be nice if the money would be used more for the preservation of the basilica. Even without an entrance fee you can view the...More

It’s a nice place to Visit and a bit out of the way but the space is beautiful. And the cloister was peaceful. We got the Verona card which was a good deal.

Hi, you can find the ticket at the entrance and this include other churches too. The audio is inside the church, but you will find someone there very helpful. The tour is less than 1 hour but it worth. Enjoy it :)

At the entrance of the 4 historical churches of Verona there is a basket where you will find some kimono that you can put over naked shoulders or wear if you are dressed with pants or skirt too short. This is a free service.
