Entrance fee charged but free to enter if entering for prayers. Quite surprised to be asked for an entry fee as this was the first time having visited many cities in Italy over the last 30 years. Worth a visit but only worth paying if...More

Visiting Basilica of San Zeno in UNESCO World Heritage sites of Verona, one of the most beautiful Romanesque architecture. When I visited there, it was raining in Verona, so very quiet and few tourists inside. The early buildings underwent some changes in the 6th century....More

This is one of the oldest Italian churches. And one of the most wonderful. It does not belong to the most popular attractions, so there are no crowds. To come to the façade take Vicolo Abazia, NOT Via Tomaso da Vico (it will be much...More

Lots of interesting points inside, both history and art. 20-30 minute walk through, with printed guide. Exterior not meaningful. Interesting art gallery near which offers bathroom for free.

Audio tour is kind of dry and I lost attention after 25 minutes. I also wasn't informed the ticket was good for other churches till I read the reviews on TripAdvisor.

We really liked this church. We came on a sunday afternoon and it was very quiet, comprehensive detailed audio tour well worth 2.50 euros! Recommended

We spent a rewarding 40 minutes looking at the famous Mantegna alterpiece. One our our best art viewing experience in Italy, as it was quiet enough, reasonably accessible, not overwhelmed. And well lit. We did have to wait 30 minutes for a funeral to finish;...More

A magic place, definitely worth seeing. We got audio guides, they are quite helpful to understand the historical context. A bit out of the old city center, but still a must see once you appear in Verona.

Well worth a visit, a beautiful church with a beautiful interior. The altar is particularly fine and the frescoes on the walls are also worth seeing as are the remains of San Zeno if you get close enough!

Hi, you can find the ticket at the entrance and this include other churches too. The audio is inside the church, but you will find someone there very helpful. The tour is less than 1 hour but it worth. Enjoy it :)

At the entrance of the 4 historical churches of Verona there is a basket where you will find some kimono that you can put over naked shoulders or wear if you are dressed with pants or skirt too short. This is a free service.
