A traditional renaissance garden, lawns, box hedges and Cyprus trees, and a grotto up the side of the hill. Either it's your sort of thing or it's not, but we loved it. Perhaps the hot sunny day helped, but the shade and sense of calm...More

There is much more to the garden as you walk around. Not busy. The views over the city are excellent too.

We really had to search for this garden, but it was worth it. Not too much to see in the Palazzo but the garden itself was beautiful and kept just as it should be.

We had a job to find this place but it was worth it. A gorgeous house with a beautiful walled garden. It is not huge or filled with flowers but it is a calm and lovely place to spend a bit of time.

Cross the river Adige on the Ponte Nuova and follow the signs to these beautiful gardens. They are very formal and very old with rows and rows of cypress trees and stylised box hedges adorned with classical statues. The ground behind the Palazzo Giardino Giusti...More
