I don't understand the title of this page, but I came to it in an attempt to review Arti Veneziane alla Giudecca on the Venetian Island of Giudecca. We came to this place as part of our tour in Venice. The tour company said they had a stake in the company and guaranteed their work and wanted their customers to... More

We visited on our tour in May 2012 one am. We got to see them demonstrate the glassblowing and forming it into a horse. After the demonstration was over, we were taken to a showroom where you could purchase some of the items made out of glass. Majority was very expensive. There were Venetian masques, mirrors, jewellery (somewhat affordable), vases,... More

We watched a glass blower making a horse standing on his hind legs. I must say it was quite interesting. All the while another gentleman explained the fine art of glass blowing. After the show we were escorted into the show rooms where you were greeted by a horde of sales people throughout the store. There certainly is some amazing... More

If have nothing else to do and you are desperate, maybe it's just ok to pay 15€ to get on a sea bus and go to the murano island for no reason. The island has one small museum that if you are lucky you can see for a couple of minutes how they make real glass art. This is the... More

My husband and I were visiting Murano to look at the glass making, which I have wanted to see since I was a child. We had no intention of buying. But in visiting Vecchia Murano, we were struck by an incredibly beautiful one of a kind glass head, "Hommage to Picasso" by one of their artisans who had actually worked... More

Our tour group was taken to this glass factory for a demonstration of how glass is blown. It was very realistic and showed what a difficult and dangerous task it is. After that, we entered the various showrooms to see many of the products produced in this factory. Unlike some other similar tours, there was not any pressure to buy... More

my family and I took a boat trip to visit the home of Murano Glass, and on arrival were surprised at the low key entrance , but once we entered the factory we were amazed at the skills of the glass blowing artists, who made things out of molten glass, the visit to the showroom was an eye opener ,...
