We took a two hour boat trip with Gianluca during our recent visit to Venice. It was the highlight of trip and the only way to really see Venice. Travelling along the smaller canals was quite magical. Would definitely recommend for those wanting to see that there is more to Venice than St Mark's Square.

My boyfriend and I enjoy the boat trip very much. We see so much that we couldnt be able to see if we take gondole. Will definitely recommend everyone to join this tour!

Agree with the other positive reviews on here. Gianluca was great to deal with. Happy to fit in a last minute booking for us and a nice mix of interesting commentary in the small canals and some fun riding out on the laguna for the kids. We had four children (aged 4-9) with us and Gianluca made it enjoyable for... More

We enjoyed a wonderful two-hour boat tour with Gianluca on June 11 - definitely a good way to see Venice from the water without the "touristy" feeling of being on a gondola. Gianluca drove us through many back canals and then also on the lagoon, explaining what we were seeing and giving us an "insider's" perspective of Venice. This was... More

This may be the best tour experience we have ever had. Nothing beats the process of travel itself -- getting to a place and lost in a place and interacting with its people and experiencing new cultures. But in terms of commercial tourism -- that is, seeking out activities where you pay a fee and put yourself in the hands... More

We have visited Venice three times and knew nothing of the treasure of a treat until our daughter searched it out and gave us a present of a trip on a small working boat. Gianlucca, the owner, speaks English and is an enthusiast about his city. Back canals, tunnels, bridges, people and induction to the part of Venice not seen... More

I couldn't recommend this boat trip more! Gianluca shows you the whole of the Venice in his boat and gives an insider's history. A must!

This was certainly one of the highlights during our time there. Gianlucca is a cool, down to earth guy. The best thing I liked about him is he is not out there to take your money. He is genuinely interested in showing his town. His meeting points (he sends map link to your phone based on where you are and... More

The boat driver was easy to contact by telephone and helpful in making arrangements for our private boat ride. He showed up on time at the small bridge we had agreed upon. This was one block from our hotel. The boat driver was friendly and only charged what we agreed upon. For the next hour and more we cruised every... More
