Quiet, small square

Compared to the other squares, this one was quite tranquil. Do not expect the crush of people, nor the street hawkers, here. Instead, this is one to enjoy - in peace.

Campo Sant'Angelo is not a big and famous place, but still have a lot of historical buildings around, one of which is Santo Stefano Church, which its nice bell tower can be admired from the square.

As with all spaces in Venice - when the alleys open up into public squares, it can take your breath away with so much to take in. Any square away from St Marks's is easier to appreciate with the thinner crowds and more locals. We really enjoyed walking and focusing on trying to cross as many bridges and pass through... More

not much to see. There's a few restaurants, a church and not much else. For the room you could expect more but, there wasn't.

A 'campo' like many others. Quite large, but nothing special. Just a place where you pass through on your way to somewhere else.

This is one of the most fun piazzas in Venice in which to sit and watch the passing parade of locals and tourists.

For lunch or diner the terrace of restaurant Aquapazza on Campo San Angelo is the best in Venice. Sit ,eat and enjoy the Campo. It is only 10 minutes from San Marco Square.
