Not Irish owned (as a Brit I'd hoped it was, for some home comfort) but still have a very lively Irish vibe. Guinness is €6.50 which is pricey in my opinion. They have live sports, I went in the afternoon for the F1 and will...More

The staff is plain rude: we were patronised and bossed around on a busy, crowdy evening (apparently we were standing in the waiters´ way, sorry for existing, guys) and laughed at upon trying to speak basic italian to them. Oh, and before I forget -...More

This is our local in Venice. Spritz at 6pm. Drinks after dinner. Cold beer in the afternoon. It’s welcoming, has outdoor and indoor seating with air conditioning if it’s too hot out. TV if you must watch football. Not too expensive like some places. We...More

We had been walking for some time and was very thirsty for a pint. This place t the spot! Price were reasonable and the courtyard allowed for a great view of people watching!

Venice is a city of old buildings, but most bars and restaurants are open, airy and even modern. This pub is dark, old dark tables, old dark walls and floor. But nice people inside with a smiling bartender behind a rustic bar, with at least...More

We came across the bar after we had disappointing experiences in two other sub standard Irish bars. This one however was perfect. That staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was lively. Great mix of locals and travellers. Don’t waste time with the sub par...More

We sought this little gem out after we stumbled across the other bars and they were not Irish pubs/bars at all. There was a great atmosphere in the bar and a amazing selection of British drinks. I wouldn’t waste your time with the others. Head...More

We visited this bar as I had heard it showed Eurovision. They don't just show it, they played it on 3 large screens and they reserve the tables in the area so that others are aware and can watch sport in the main bar. Great...More

Classic Irish bar with a touch of Venice. Plenty of screens showing the 6 nations rugby, good beer selection, yummy snacks along with fun, friendly welcoming staff and reasonable prices. What more could you ask for!! Well worth a visit.

Visited 3 Irish bars. This number 1 for atmosphere, all the same for quality of Guinness, number 2 for value and 3 for Irish coffee. Would definitely come again.

Cannaregio
Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)
with its busy Santa Lucia train station. Many
transplanted Venetians commute from the outlying

for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,
2008) still a local hotbed of controversy. Ponte degli
Scalzi is a busy link to the train station. Nearby

Sorry I don't know as I'm now back in the UK and the home of AJ, Watford! The people in the pub are really helpful and all spoke English. It might be worth giving them a call to ask. Good luck. Cheers Kevin
