If you like Tintoretto's works, then find this church. The Presentation of the Virgin at the Temple is truly a remarkable piece to view. We went on a Saturday and were the only ones in this out of the way church in northern Venice. Sit...More

Very well priced in venice terms and delicious.Close quarters and usually a wait but well worth it. Order the fresh fish, they will filet it in front of you and squeeze lemon on it when they are done! ~~~Supurb!

In the Canareggio area of Venice and well off the beaten track. Quiet and tranquil and the statue is beautiful. Buy a Chorus pass and then you can visit lots of lesser known churches. Definitely go to Santa Maria dei Miracoli (it's enchanting)

There is a lot of history in Venice and a lot of it is tucked away in places very few tourists go. I recommend that you break away from the routine of typical spots to visit in Venice and take some time to see Madonna...More

Cannaregio is the second largest sestiere (district)

for any place that is not Venice. Two Grand Canal
bridges serve Cannaregio, the newest (Constitution,

Nope. The church is in a residential area of Venice and away from most of the tourist attractions and crowds. So unless you have the misfortune of arriving the same time as a tour group does, you'll have the church mostly... More
