Marika met our group of 8 at the market in Venice. She taught us how to pick the best ingredients. We went back to her house and she taught us how to prepare a fabulous Italian meal. The homemade pasta was out of this world. So much fun!

With a little persuasion I convinced my husband that this would be a great experience, and it was! Marika and her staff are amazing. We did the pasta extravaganza and every recipe was delicious! My fourteen year old son even enjoyed himself. The cooking class is worth every cent.

My son and I took the 4 hour "pasta extravaganza" class, which was conducted in English. While we were the "worst class ever" -- said jokingly, hopefully, in response to our frequently torn pasta sheets, the 4 of us had a wonderful time, and the best meal ever of pasta we had made ourselves. In addition to the 3 pasts... More

I did the pasta extravaganza course which included making ravioli, gnocchi and panna cotta. This was very entertaining and enjoyable and ended with a delicious meal

In spite of my partner being highly sceptical, I booked the market tour and we both enjoyed the time. Times of interesting learing at the market or in class alternate with relaxation, so the time is passing by fast.

Wow!!! Absolutely incredible cooking class!!! We were on a 2 week vacation to 5 different countries and this was the highlight. My partner does not even know how to boil water or turn on an oven and he was able to do everything! He was worried he wouldn't enjoy it but he agrees it was the highlight. The food was... More

Acquolina Cooking School was the highlight of my trip to Venice! My daughter and I had the pleasure of attending a cooking class at Acquolina on the Lido in Venice last week. I must say that the owner/instructor Marika was brilliant! The Villa and all of its facilities especially the magnificent kitchen exceeded expectations. It was fully equipped and sparkling... More

I took part in a class that was focused on making pasta dishes. I was reluctant at first to take a pasta making class as I am originally from Italy and consider pasta making one of my strengths but I was delighted by how much I was able to learn realizing how small details can make a huge difference such... My wife and I had an amazing few hours with Marika. It was truly incredible. She has a lovely home which is also a bed and breakfast, which is located on The Lido. We made several pastas, all fresh/from scratch, including gnocchi. All sauces were freshly made as well, like homemade pesto. Highly recommend.

Thank Richard S
