Lovely bookshop, a must visit in Venice just for its unique-ness and charm. Lots and lots of books, some English too. It was worth a visit even just to get some photos!

This wonderful bookshop is hidden away. We love the cats and the interesting layout, especially the book staircase and the fire escape!

Literally a few feet from our hotel. Due to a flood many books were destroyed, so in the back there is a stack of them bringing color and beauty to the staircase. Worth stopping in if you have time.

It’s a super cute bookstore with a great collection of touristy kind of books and small gifts. They probably also have a good collection of other books but that’s not what we went for. They also have a 2 cute outside areas for reading and...More

We visited this bookshop very hesitantly, thinking that is would be more of an attraction than anything else (it is indeed full of tourists, which is a pleasure, as they browse books at the same time), yet we were agreeably surprised to find a very...More

It would be everything all the reviews say it is -- charming and quaint and unusual if only there weren't so many people inside! It's pretty crammed with books, so there isn't much walking space and this place is packed with people trying to take...More

A disappointing visit , the store victim of its name . We are booklovers and we could barely have a look around as the store was full of asian ladies posing for boyfriends photos . HELLO ! This is not a set for cheap fashion...More

This place is definitely a must see when visiting Venice. Its very unique and cool. Tons of books and there's this small staircase made out of old books that is a definite photo spot. There's a lot of random stuff but it's intriguing. The owners...More

Getting lost in Venice is real- but if you find this bookshop along the way it’s worth it! Hundreds of books & bits & pieces- something for everyone. The tight space adds to the charm- & the gondola lets you know you are in the...More

This place was an absolute gem to stumble across, the most photogenic bookshop I've ever seen. With the unique displays of books and the various cats dozing on shelves, it was a place I didn't want to leave.

Castello
Castello is the largest of the six sestieri

one-fifth the area of Venice. This gentrified maritime

Whenever I have been there during the day it has been open, so 09.00 (maybe 10.00) to 18.00 is usual. Even Sunday I think. Regards
