I work in opera and love looking at theatres, so getting inside La Fenice was high on my list for Venice (particularly as La Scala was closed on our one day in Milan). I wasn't disappointed - it's an absolute jewel of a theatre. The...More

My family and I booked tickets for La Traviata at Teatro La Fenice. Beautiful venue, but not as stunning as Paris Opera house. While the music was great, the costuming and the set decorating was horrible. Don't spend your money on this show.

Since our last visit, we noticed that dressing up was no longer so necessary. Very mixed outfits but still a little bit of sense of occasion! If eating before the start, do make sure you get out in time. Although we were eating at the...More

Went here on our honeymoon. Great experience. Show was fantastic. Setting is perfect. Call for tickets - cheaper! Much more expensive to book online.
