This chapel is next door to St Anthony's Basilica. It was a 5 euro each entrance fee, but it was well worth it. Only drawback- not allowed to photograph inside. I guess they want your to buy their guide book with pictures- which of course...More

A beautiful chapel, decorated in frescoes from 1376 (most of them in very good condition) presenting scenes from the lives of s. George, Catherine, Lucy and The Holy Family. There are not many tourists, probably because the entrance costs 3 EUR :) Go there!

Built in 1374 & not changed at all .The ceiling and walls are decorated with frescoes painted by Altichiero da Zevio . Worth a visit but 5 euro entry compared to free for the Basilica next door that is amazing seems comparatively expensive .

This is well worth seeing even if your time in Padua is short. The Scuola has some early Titian paintings and the picture of the kneeling donkey is lovely. The oratorio is smaller but no less interesting with frescoes of various saints, and you can see the...More

Maybe worth going here before the basilica next door. We did it the other way round and this oratory seemed so small and having had my visual senses completely blasted by the interior of the basilica - it was hard to pay attention to the...More

Interesting, but felt superfluous after visiting the Santo next door. I think only 5 euro for the Oratorio and Scoletta. If saving money, just opt for the Scoletta. The Santo is free.

The Oratorio and the Scuola di Saint Anthony are fabulous! You enter into the Oratorio and then the guide will take you upstairs to the scuola. No pictures allowed! (Unless you are crafty). The frescoes are fabulous and much older than what you will find...More

Only in Padova would this be overlooked! It's next door to the church of San Antonio, really lovely frescoes and we had the place to ourselves! Capella degli Scrovengni rightly attracts lots of visitors, but this is virtually unknown.

It is surprising how some places apparently small gather so much information and surprises about our past.
