We had a wonderful guide who explained the history of the gardens and characteristics of the plants to be found there. The contrast between the old part and the new is very interesting. It is certainly worth the visit to the world's first botanical garden...More

We felt a bit ripped off because the original gardens (quite small) were looking a bit sad and dusty. However, the huge modern glass house was much better and we could've spent much longer in there if we had had the time. To find the...More

What a beautiful place! Often overlooked...but should not be missed. If you want to spend an hour or a couple of hours, we’ll worth the time you have!

10 euro for a botanical garden it is too much!!! Anyway the gigantic glasshouse is excellent, and the same goes for the plants collection in it. Very nice specially for kids. I also enjoyed the open gardens.

The heart of the garden it the original set up, in geometrical design, within a wall. The new section is a great greenhouse set to 4 different climates. Both parts are very pleasant to stroll in and get the feeling of old and new Padova.

A very interesting botanic experience. The old part of the garden is to be found outdoor, with statues and stone walls. The modern part is indoor with different climatic sones. Absolutly a place to visit.

This was a relaxing day in a nice park. Not the best garden i have ever been in but nice if you want a break from the busy tourist streets.

A good blend of old gardens to relax in (and overlooked by the huge Basilica di San Giustina) and interesting displays of different biotypes in large modern glasshouses. Some fish ponds, nice gift shop.

This isn’t the most beautiful garden in Italy but it was worth the 10 euro and it was a nice way to pass an afternoon. I believe t is also the oldest botanical garden. It was well laid out and informative.
