This was an interesting place to visit, i would recommend visiting in the summer when the plants and flowers outside are thriving as the outdoor area was a bit empty in some parts when we visited at the end of September, but the new part,...More

Nicely laid out with a mix of gardens and impressive historic buildings. The lily pads, some with raised sides and three feet across, alone are worth the visit, although the Goethe palm and the poisonous and medicinal plants collections are certainly highlights

Lovely to wander around, even in September when few flowers were to be seen. Very interesting glasshouses, each with a different climate, which you can also view from above from walkways. Half price admission with the Padova Card.

There are those who will wander around and read the names of the trees and other plants and feel they have received their monies worth. Then there are those who will enjoy the trees and plants, not really paying too much attention to their botanical...More
