Didn't get much of of this place. Yes, there are a lot of statues, and the square is Europe's second largest, but except for that; nothing to really remember.

We visited when a special event was going on so the place was a buzz with people and sound. The buildings facing the Prato are wonderful.

Absolutly extrodinary and I am not sure of its origin or purpose, other than a lovely green space enhanced by fountains waterways, bridges and sculptures. A nice place to people watch on a warm evening as the sun sets.

One of the largest squares in Europe and impressive to see in person. The statues around the outside make it even more special place to take a stroll.

A very impressive square, the 2nd large in Europe, surrounded by water and over 80 statues. Pleasant to stroll, surrounded by restaurants.

This is one of the largest piazzas in in Europe. It is just beautiful. The green part is encircled by a canal that is "guarded" by 78 life-sized marble statues of intellectual leaders from the 18th century. A must see.

Prato della Vale is a place where you can sit on the grass and spend cool time with your friends and family. Beautiful view, fountains, monuments.. true Padova.
