Parked at the velodrome, excellent location for visiting south Padua. The Prato della Valle, is exceptional (especially as the weather was great), especially as there were hardly any other visitors, (could be the time of year, may just have been lucky). Well worth a visit.

You won't miss this huge square if you visit Padua. Try to come on a day when the open market is open in this square. Lots of coffee shops around if you need a rest.
