This is a very important church for Christians as its believed to have miracles. I'm addition this is an amazing place. Had the relics of St Anthony and many other saints. Also a beautifull architecture with lovely paintings. For Christians : There is a Mass every hour. There are priests for confessions and blessings at all times.

Truly a spirit filled Basilica. We were filled with peace and tranquility. This is one of those places of worship which focuses on fulfilling the spiritual needs of visitors. Its not one which just allows tourists armed with assault weapon cameras to keep snapping and clicking as they wish. What a welcome change from the big cities. There is always... More

I do have to tell you that I'm not religious but this church is really worth of visit. The architeture is absolutely amazing and interior is rich and magnificent, you can stand in there for hours looking at the celling and walls. There is also a shrin of St. Anthony and it's worth of visit since you are already there.

I have no words to describe how visually amazing and incredible this basilica is. I believe I have never seen a church more beautiful than this one. It is difficult to describe - so many different styles and little places, different paintings and decorations under each and every dome. Absolutely gorgeous. If you have time to see only one thing... The building is impressive. The interior is very rich. And for the believers, it has some relics of St. Antonio (of Lisbon or Padova .... both cities reclaim the saint).

I feel I should always start a review of a religious location by stating that I am not myself religious – I’m what some might even (wrongly) call a “militant atheist”. OK – so, now that I’ve confessed, I feel able to start … Set in a modern urban environment, the exterior of this church is impressive enough in terms... More

I did not have much information about this Basilica before I entered, but after I saw how it looked from inside I decided to explore its past. It is really one of the biggest and most beautiful churches I have ever seen.
