We enjoyed the interesting collection of paintings, wooden sculptures, bishops vestments and popes rings. Labels were only in Italian with English documents printed on separate sheets. Personally i found this hard to identify exactly which artefact was being described. The collection is great and interestingly...More

Probably one of the best cathedral/museums I have visited. Doable in an hour or so but don't miss small cubby holes in the walls. If access is not blocked off, go in. I will devulge the surprise.

This is a great little museum with lots of hidden gems. Several floors and lots of rooms give the impression of a grand family house. The display of ecclesiastical garments on the top floor is particularly stunning. They also have nice toilets!

Granted, Brussels tapestries may not be up every art-lover's sleeve, but these are well-nigh a "must" anyway, and at the very least, worth a detour. But Trent in any case deserves a visit in its own right as a historic place--not to forget the former...More
