Collection of local Academy of arts. Many interesting works, the personnel are very friendly. Sadly, no information in English. Free with a ticket of Palazzo Real

Very nice
Dec 2016 • Family
Very nice and quiet art gallery, which reminded me of a similar academia gallery in Vienna.

Go only if you like old master art and can survive some more religious art. Then you'll be surprised. I really liked caravaggist paintings (better than those in Sabauda), whole room of huge cartoons (I think much more interesting that Raphael cartoons in V&A), Sacra famiglia by Cavarozzi, a few still lives, high quality academic copies, etc.

Less than an hour is enough. No crowds. Ring at the front door to get in. Sabauda ticket works here the next day.

Worth a visit!
Mar 2016 • Friends
If you have 45 minutes to spare, just pop in to this little gallery, they have surprisingly interesting collections, well arranged. There were not many visitors there on easter sunday (just one other person), so we had the whole gallery to ourselves, which was nice. They had a nude painting exhibition going on so it was interesting to see these paintings interspersed with christian works ;)

Small art gallery, worth a look
Oct 2015 • Solo
This art gallery has an interesting collection of paintings, including some very beautiful early religious works. It's well arranged, and there is information in English on specific works. Particularly unusual is the room full of 'cartoons' - full-scale sketches made in preparation for paintings.

You have to ring the buzzer at the street-level entrance door to gain access to the building, then climb two flights of stairs to reach the gallery. There's toilets and a small shop, but no refreshment facilities. An hour is sufficient to see everything.

Great hidden gem
Aug 2015
This is a bit of a hidden gem in central Turin. Entry is through an apartment block-style staircase, but you leave via the state staircase!
The art was great from the get-go.
They were also showcasing some modern art from students around the world and various works were intermingled with the permanent collection. It simply served to show how far art has degenerated.
As usual, no English guidebook.
