Very good

Clean & efficient but a bit drab- a splash of colour would help.
We saw a poor disturbed fellow who dressed as though he was a baby- bibs & dummy included. Sad sight.
Cheap & easy to comprehend, although the entrance s & exits are not clearly marked.

Cheap efficient transport system in Turin. Used it daily from hotel to city centre. Quick and clean with easy to understand maps.

Very modern. Clean efficient and easy to navigate. Fully automated system with ticket inspectors. Safe to use and cheap. What more can you ask from an underground system. A joy to use.

Journey by metro

Only one line is in Turin, but very convenient and safe. You can not fall down on the track because of the platform, there are automatic doors between platform and track!

easy to navigate

We found the metro to be very clean, the trains very frequent and the whole system easy use. It's also very safe because the trains are behind glass doors which only open when the train is stationary.

Excellent way to move when possible
Apr 2019 • Business
Always the fastest way to move yourself in the city but the network is rather limited so you can"t use only this mean of transport.
Remember that the ticket have to be simply exposed on the circle area in the upper side of the gate (and not be inserted in the slot.

It is still funny to see the fully automated driverless subway train. It is ontime, clean, reliable. I look forward to a second line.

Shockingly Clean, Safe, and Easy to Use
Nov 2018 • Couples
Turin's small metro system is one of the best in the world. It's clean, safe, inexpensive, and makes it a breeze to get around town. The main red line is all that exists, so it's super easy to get where you're going and not get lost.

A single journey ticket costs €1.70 (around $2.00 U.S.). If you're going to be in the city for longer, or if you plan on utilizing public transportation, there's an unlimited ride ticket that's good for 24 hours that costs only €5!

It's easy to purchase tickets right in each station. There are machines that have Italian and English so it's easy to understand. I'd recommend using cash to buy your tickets but the machines also take credit cards.

I felt extremely safe when riding the metro. I was also surprised at how clean the stations and trains are! I saw no graffiti inside the stations or trains, which is astounding for public transportation, especially in European cities. I rode the trains all hours of the day and night and never even saw any buskers onboard.

Take a look around when you stop at each station; there are individual works of art that decorate each stop.
