We stopped at this Enoteca for a glass of wine and some dinner, I must say that I was extremely dissapointed by the staff friend
Jun 2021 • Couples
I would say that quality of the wine was as expected so no complains there but to be honest that would apply to most places in Italy apart from the fact that I would have expected some guidance from a sommelier but this was not the case..., but the highest dissapointment comes from the service and staff, honestly we had quite a bad experience, we ordered a tagliata which is a tender beef cut usually cooked medium or medium rare but to our surprise the meat was very dry and overcooked by a long way, honestly never expected to see this kind of quality, it honestly felt as if it had been left for hours on a pan or a grill and had dried out completely, these things can happen sometimes (less often that I can remember but it is possible) and we had to return it..., but above all I would have expected a different approach in response to our honest complain from the staff and owner, so I must rate it 1 out of 5 to be fair with our overall experience... Perhaps ok for a drink if you know what you want to drink but would avoid anything else...

Only for a glas of wine if you don’t belong to the V.I.P.

Service staff was not very friendly and the food wasn’t tasty. Therefore the spumante and red wine was excellent, but they both had their price! not a cheap place!

I really get upset when I notice, that the staff is treating me like a third class client - and this happened at L’Enoteca!
my friend and I ordered a very good spumante (for 10€ a glass!!!) and they brought us some grissini with it..
I noticed that other guests got some apetizers with the glass they ordered.
So I asked what I had to order, to get some apetizers. The girl was honestly telling me , that this was offered to the guests ... (but not to us? Seriously? ) she was kidding me? why didn’t we get the same? was it, because we were not talking italian?
my friend just speaks german.. so was this the reason to be treated like this?

we ordered some pasta which was not tasty..
We had to ask for the parmigiano .. she wouldn’t bring, and the same for a slice of bread..

the owner was sitting near to us ...
but didn’t realise all this..
what a shame for the really nice looking place..

so if you love excellent wine, just go for a glass , you’ll love the choice, but don’t expect a good service.

Be aware of the menu
Nov 2019 • Couples
We went for a light dinner and good wine... wine was fine, but the food was extremely disappointing... the quality of vitello tonnato was poor and the pulpito a la gallega was out of a can. It was funny because we asked for info before ordering and we were assured it was fresh food. When we complained they pretended it was not an issue and they made us clear that as tourists we were not passing by again. So they had cashed their bill. Very disappointing as we just moved to Torino . So be careful with the menu

Overpriced, underserviced
Jul 2019 • Solo
Stopped to buy a bottle of wine (25 euro!!). Saw some guests having a glass and a cheese plate. Asked for the same, and got something that was mainly meats... would have loved for the owner to be a bit more tuned in. Asked for a second glass of (expensive) wine from their list..."oh, the bottle is finished". At that price, as it is on their card, they should open a new bottle. Go to pay...43 euro, which includes charging wine at a much higher price than on their card, and a charge for "butter, bread and anchovies" which never made it to the table. And an oily smile from the owner....

Just for a very good glass of wine
Jun 2019 • Couples
We just needed a glass of wine after a long walk. Had a glass of the chardonnay Tiefenbrunner, what a very good surprise, accompanied by a excellent mixed plate cheese and cold meat. I specially loved the cheese filled with olive. Very friendly staff can just recommend. Of course we needed a refill.

I only had room in my luggage for a couple of bottle so had to get the right choice. No problem, helpful and knowledgeable staff.

Excellent hosts with lovely range of wines and apperativo

We found this place on a nice evening in April. They kindly arranged extra seating outside when we indicated this was our preference. They gave two rounds of apperativo snacks and the wines were delicious. I recommend.

Good for wine and a light snack

The hotel concierge recomends this place.
It's a small enoteca, but full of italian wines and some from other countries.
I'd tried some good one's by glass.
The muzzarella and ricota come from Battipaglia, one of the best region for these cheeses, we loved them.
I also loved the vitello tonnato.
we'd went there twice.

Happy discovery

We came across L'Enoteca while shopping in the area. We popped in for a glass (or two) and an afternoon snack. We enjoyed a delish and yet untried Franciacorta and Nero D'Avola. With its sleek and modern interior, knowledgeable service, and walls covered with labels to be discovered, we will be back.
