... heralding a new style in building train stations, but echoing the grandeur of the eclectic/steel buildings of yesteryear ... much needed to decrease traffic in Porta Nuova and easy to navigate ... also easy to get to Malpensa airport from here, either by train...More

This is a fine train station. It's huge, with many shops and amenities. Trains, high speed and regionale, from all over Italy call here. If you're coming from the south or west you seem to have to make a pointless stop at the sorry Lingotto...More

Big, bright, cold and sterile. Purely functional. Great little coffee shop which is so good and reasonable there's nearly always a cue at peak times. It looks and feels like a greenhouse with no plants.

Getting there from other stations such as Porta Nuova is easy....the new Metro is cheap, frequent and fast. One tip: when navigating the EXIT gates, tow bags behind you, as the gates won't open if you push a bag ahead. Spacious upper floor with adequate...More

This buiding is huge and stunning, it's very easy to get lost. I appreciate the ecologic thinking behind the project (the roof is photovoltaic). But some essential services are missing and the building looks more like a commercial center than a train station: - first...More

The railway station after reconstruction is completely new building and design. Very open with huge area available for shopping cum food plaza but yet to be occupied. Still dormant and not yet a lively place. The station and platforms are fully functional and easily accessible.

It’s an extraordinary structure. A landmark of modernity, contrasting with much of the rest of the grand architecture in the city. We first saw it when walking along Via Cernaia and turning onto Corso Bolzano. The full extent of the edifice can be fully appreciated...More
