This was the one that got away last time we were in Turin so playing catch up and it was well worth it. I expected to be convinced but came away more than after spending more time than expected. Also of interest to non-enthusiasts. Museum 2.0 I guess, one of the latest generation museums that offers a more complete experience... More

Museum is allocated within short metro ride distance from city center, than walk to the river side and voila, there it is... museums display not only history of car building, but also history of design, history of engines and that is not all! there are glamorous old & historical cars, but than there is great samples of gorgeous design samples,... Great car museum lots on display and very well laid out. From the origins of cars to present day lots to see a couple of hours required at least.

We really enjoyed our stay in Turin in December. It was a fantatic decision to stay in Lingotto, where Fiat used to built cars. The neighborhood of Lingotto has retained the original structures making the atmosphere just like in the old days. You could still hear the humming of cars being tested at the top of the building. If we... More

Of the three museums we visited in Turin this was the only one to hold my interest. I contain a history and prehistory of the horseless carriage. While mostly containing European autos, I could not take offence since the old Fiat factory is but a short distance away. There are a large number of very old and beautiful cars in... More

We are big car fans so the NAM was always going to be on our list. At €12 entrance each we thought the fee was pretty fair. The exhibits were amazing. Cars dating pre 1900 in plentiful supply and lots of interactive features to keep even the wives amongst us amused! The F1/F2 Ferrari exhibition towards the end was breathtaking.... More

Having visited a lot of motoring museums in my time I can definitely recommend this one and it would rate in my top 3 of all that I have visited. Going with a large group of Petrolhead friends taking part in Rally for Heroes 2016 and seeing everyone that went there enjoy it speaks volumes. Great place to visit and... More

Very nice museum that tells you the history of the motor industry, as well as demonstrates the newest cars, including some prototips.

We decided to check out the Museo dell'Automobile on the spur of the moment, and we're very glad that we did -- it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The museum has some great vintage autos on display from the late-1800s through the present -- mainly Italian models, but also some from France, Germany, the US, and elsewhere. Visually, it was...
