Our hotel was close to this park so we got to walk through it every day and loved going through it. It is a lovely park and definitely worth a visit.

This is a beautiful park right behind Sforzesco Castle. It is lovely to walk around and is a short walk from the Duomo. After being in the horded crowds of tourists at the Duomo this is a nice peaceful break where there are no pan-handlers and you see more locals enjoying there days here then tourists. This park is so... More

We walked from the Duomo of Milan square. Wide open spaces, grassy areas, and several benches at the park where there was room to sit, relax, and have our sandwiches we had bought along the way. Did not notice anything in the park itself that was very spectacular.

This is one of Milan's highlights - a beautiful park. We spent several occasions there, sometimes walking, or having a drink or ice-cream and just watching the people. It caters for all needs - families, locals, visitors. The park is an oasis in the centre of a famous city. It contrasts with the elegant shops and crowds at the castle.

Beautiful park to wander, close to city. We wandered the park for an hour or so in September after visiting the Castello. You could be mistaken for thinking you were in Berlin with the beautiful gates at the end of the park.

While visiting Sforza, you must not miss to see Sempione! It is amazing park in which you can do many thigs and they organize something different every weekend. You must take a walk toward Arco della Pace and have a drink there!

This is the park on the Castello Sforzesco grounds. You will be on it once inside the castle. It is free. The huge area has beautiful manicured grass, lots of plants, trees, flowers, water fountain, pathways, benches, and ponds. And an arch. I don't know how much time you have but lounging in a park, may not be high on... More

At the Sempione's park is an amazing place to make your run and fit exercises. With a big area without obstacles you can see beautiful people running, chilling and walking in the park with their dogs. Amazing!

Staying in Centro Storico

Neighbourhood Profile
Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.
