Friendly and knowledgeable staff, tasty bar snacks, huge wine selection
May 2019
This wine shop/wine bar has friendly and knowledgeable folks that speak excellent English. One delightful feature, when you want to buy a glass of wine they pour you a bit to taste first--if it isn't what you want you can try something different. They tend to start with less expensive wines so if you have a yen for special and costly wine let them know, they will accommodate you. Your purchase of a glass of wine allows you to try the array of snacks on the bar. These are simple, rustic, and tasty.

For that special bottle...

This is a fantastic stop for oenophiles, an intimate little wine shop with a wonderful offering by the glass with very reasonable prices, all as you nibble on little tasty treats at the bar and chat with friendly staff or other patrons. They feature mostly Italian and French wines, grappas, ports and other novelties... Once inside you smell hints of those musty aromas typical of cantinas, cork and aged bottles. The stemware is both elegant and varietal sensitive...but don’t break the glass or you’ll find your receipt will include a hefty fee per glass...but that’s the price you pay for a sommelier experience. And when you’ve tasted all you like, you can buy the bottle that won you over.

It’s in the heart of China town, unexpectedly located but absolutely worth the trip! The seating is limited inside and out and often full.

Close to Monumentale stop on the M5 or team 10... parking is tough unless you pay in the lot on the other side of the nearby “Bulk”, a new IT spot in Milan.

Our favourite find of the holiday!

This little shop tucked in the heart of China town is filled with every type of alcoholic drink you could dream of. We were given an authentic Italian welcome, some delicious bar snacks (bread soaked in oil, bruschetta, olives...) and asked what type of wine we were looking for. We chose a sparkling white wine which was delicious! At 21€ I picked up a bottle to take home. My husband also purchased a rather nice bottle of red from Verona which we are looking forward to tucking into when we get back to the UK.

I challenge you not to leave without buying a bottle.... Bellisimo!

One of the best wine bar I've been to

This place is perfect. Wine, staff – everything. They have wide selection of wines served by the glass, unless it's sunday (they are closed on monday), they say they can open any bottle for you. Load of natural wine from small producers from italy and other wine countries in Europe. Will definatly be back there. Highly recommend for any wine lover.

Great find!

This wine shop was around the corner from our hotel. We happened upon it on our way back to the hotel one night. It's a great gathering place for locals to meet and enjoy a glass of wine and antipasti. We were given excellent advise on local wines by the girl who works there. Loved it!
