About
Since 1883 a benchmark of the Milanese and Italian enogastronomy. A shop on three floors just a few steps the Duomo of Milano: a selector and a manufacturer; a butchery, a cold cuts shop, a cheese maker, an artisan pasta factory, a delicatessen, a pastry and gelato shop; a wine cellar with more than 3000 among wines and distillates. A shop, a gourmet restaurant, a catering. A haven for who loves discovering the taste of tradition, a destination for who looks for the new frontiers of the international cuisine.

The area
Address
Neighbourhood: Centro Storico
The pulsating core of Milan is in Centro. Duomo Square is enclosed by the gothic cathedral, the historic icon of Milan. However, shopping is what draws most crowds to this area. The classy and versatile Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II with luxury boutiques and high quality restaurants will turn any shopping or lunch expedition into a royal experience. Head to the rooftop of the flagship La Rinascente to enjoy the view of the animated square with a panorama of the Duomo. The Corso Vittorio Emanuele II is the street for high-end shopping. Brands of all kinds and street artists attract the attention of all visitors; while at Via Santa Radegonda 16, Luini Panzerotti is a much appreciated street food shop providing unimaginable culinary experiences. If shopping takes its toll on you, consider visiting Castello Sforzesco, a 15th century castle housing several museums. Those looking to relax can go to Parco Sempione, where nature provides respite from the energy of this dynamic and international city.

Wow food factor

Have done the Duomo etc.? The try this extraordinary food/wine shop, where you can also get a meal or taste wine. If the sight of Jeroboams of first growth claret excites you, you can see them all here - together! Then, decide that you don't want to take on another mortgage and buy some cheese to take home.

Excellent Gastronomia and Fine Restaurant
Dec 2019
We had not been to Peck in years, but the moment we walked through the doors in Via Spadari, memories of wonderful moments spent there came flooding back.
We were curious about the new “Piccolo Peck“, a gourmet cafe located inside the shop, but one look at it convinced us that the reservations we had made at the restaurant were the best choice.
People seem to like it - perhaps because it is quick and seems (seems!) that it won't be as expensive as the restaurant - but it looks like an average bar in a train station (the advert photos glorify it), with tiny tables and uncomfortable chairs.
No, thanks.

The restaurant is on the upper floor. It is spacious and we had a table by the window so that we could see all of the lovely Christmas decorations on the beautiful buildings nearby.
The waiters are friendly, professional and very helpful.
We chose an antipasto which included some of the best poached prawns we have ever tasted, and a delightful miniature "brick" of Peck's famous patè.
Our traditional favorite, osso buco, did not disappoint, although we were surprised to find that the risotto with fresh white truffle was not exciting. Why not? The truffles just lacked aroma.
Excellent assortment of breads, all made on the premises, and fine wine. No room for dessert, but the coffee was excellent.

A quick trip downstairs to famous delicatessen was fun but exhausting. It was overflowing with Milanesi and tourists, and we gave up trying to shop there that day.
We will return!

A Gorgeous Display
Oct 2019
This was our second visit to Peck. Lunch was fine, rather unremarkable but the artful displays of prepared foods: sea food, desserts, meats cheeses were gorgeous.
My husband describes it as "food porn". Certainly worth a visit just to ogle the magnificent platters of delicacies.

Overwhelming Selection for Foodies
Sep 2019 • Couples
Peck is a high end food emporium in Milan near the Duomo that is worth stepping into for a look at everything from packaged jams, pickles, olives and spices to handmade breads, fresh pastas and gorgeous pastries, from premade meals, roasted meats, cheeses and raw & cured meats. It is a wonderland for foodies.

Residents stop by to shop for bags full of boxed prepared foods as well as fresh ingredients to cook their own meals. The store is very large with numerous stations and display cases in addition to a small coffee bar and dining space on the street level and more on other floors.

If you are a tourist looking for food gifts to take back home this is the place to find incredible items. They also have vacuum packed hard cheeses and other items with travelers in mind. If you have an Airbnb or rental place in Milan with a dining area, this is the place to get meals to go or authentic Italian items to cook your own dinner.

Great multi storey gourmet fine food and wine store,
Oct 2019 • Couples
My wife had an enjoyable lunch at the informal cafeteria on the ground floor, with a tapas menu. We ordered pate, octopus salad, Caesar salad & quail eggs.
The best part was browsing the fine foods on display , including truffle . We bought some chocolates & biscuits as gifts.
This is a good place to take a respite from shopping

We had been recommended to visit this store by a friend , we had walked passed it on the previous day but it was closed ( not open on Mondays) and by chance we were close by the next day so called in. The store is a food lovers delight and the wine cellar impressive
We had a light lunch in the restaurant I had caesar salad which bizarrely for me had cheese sauce over it and my husband had pasta carbanara which was delicious service was exceptional. Advise booking

A Century and beyond in Italian Gastronomy
Jun 2019 • Family
We visited the Peck flagship store, located a few steps away from the Duomo, Milan in one of the oldest streets of the city centre. Peck services include the shop, three restaurants – Al Peck, Piccolo Peck and Peck CityLife – a catering service, customised gift sets and home delivery.
We saw a wide range of cheeses, a very large range of wine and red meat and salads in the store.
For over a hundred years Peck has been well established in the field of high gastronomy, distinguishing itself for its unique proposals and for the attention constantly focused on the customers. Respecting the tradition, but reinterpreting it in a modern way, Peck continues to evolve. Recently Peck embarked on globalisation in expanding their presence and at the same time promoting artisanal specialties in food and beverages often overlooked by gross market forces.
