This museum has a nice collection of paintings, especially by Italian artists (Lippi, Canaletto), but there are more impressive collections in Milan, such as at the Pinacoteca di Brera. Entrance is included with all Castello Sforzesco museums, so it is worth a quick tour.

In north Italy, you must at least visit this castle as an example of historical events, governance and architecture styles for that time.
