For sheer belle époque splendor, this extravagant 19th-century glass-topped, barrel-vaulted tunnel serves as a lively, noisy and colorful shopping mall, teeming with life and inviting you to people-watching from the tables that spill from the Galleria's many bars and restaurants.

Located opposite the Duomo di Milano Cathedral. The Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II is a beautiful pedestrian walkway, which has a glass ceiling. There are many shops to visit here. Very expensive and very crowded.

It's no more than a REALLY crowded deluxe shopping mall. I wouldn't recommend it at all. It's not worth it.

Let's cut to the chase - it's a very crowded shopping center in a very busy tourist area. It's a beautiful building, but let's call it what it is. The crowds get lighter and the shops more charming as you venture away from this area.

I was dragged to the Duomo plaza by a colleague; over his shoulder I saw this "Galerie marchande" and told him we should visit it. Contrary to many such "Galleria", this one is spacious and airy. There was a lot of people but the vistas...More
