A delightful exhibition, only 50 works and some relatively unknown although the artists are very famous. Well set out and the translations are very good, which is not always the case! Only the first rooms have somewhere to sit, so beware anyone who has a...More

We visited Milan in January and luckily they decided to extend the exhibition to allow more people to see it. We arrived in plenty of time for the opening at 1.30pm and there was already a queue , mostly Italians. We queued for about an...More

I visited Milan in January to visit the exhibition of work by Caravaggio. On line ticket sales were fully booked weeks before my visit so I queued patiently in line for the best part of three hours. Thankfully the sun was shining and those waiting...More

The Caravaggio exhibition is outstanding. If you don't get why Caravaggio is such an important figure in the history of painting, this will get you there. But there is another exhibition at the Palazzo Reale as well - and that is Toulouse Lautrec. If I...More

The Caravaggio exhibition was the reason for the visit to Milan. The exhibition lived up to all of our expectations. The paintings were well displayed in the majestic surroundings of the Palazzo Reale. The technology added to the overall experience. On the way out we...More

We visited this exhibition at short notice at 5 pm on a cold, wet late afternoon. It was notionally opened to 7:30 pm, but people were still being admitted around 7 pm as there were also private group tours beyond time. The exhibition was fabulous...More

There is nothing special as a building itself. But there are always excellent temporary exhibitions. Every time we are in Milan we visit it.

Located quite near Duomo, this place is easy to find. However, apart from the courtyard there is nothing to see outside. Inside seems to be numerous exibitions, but it's not too tourist friendly to catch a glimpse of overview at a glance. Still, worth checking...More

I believe the answer is yes. There appears to be a palace museum which I think is what you want. The entrance is near to them in entrance of the building as it faces the Duomo.

Hi, I would just turn up. They count the people in and as the others have said, if there are 'no shows' then you probably buy a ticket at the entrance of the exhibition. Worth a go, and nothing to lose!
