The open character of this church, just next to the Castello di San Giorgi, makes it a nice prologue to the Castello visit; just go walk and see, you'll see also some of the marks the earthquake 2012 has left on the church.

It is well worth looking out when visiting the Cathedral for advertisements for concerts which take place here. The atmoshphere is very serene and the accoustics are extremely good.
