This is a very small and ancient church. It was built over some other ancient temple (I've been told the whole story, but obviously forgot). Free entrance, some frescos, and just have a quick look or sit down and look around and enjoy the atmosphere.

Right in the centre of Mantova, this is one of the oldest pieces of architecture, very particular in its circular shape, well kept both inside and outside. No fee to visit, offerings appreciated.

A small round church in the city centre, surely worth a quick visit. Peculiar place. And it's free to wander around

Make a small donation as you enter this beautiful church. It is such a delight and its amazing that they have lovingly restored it. You can pictures of what it took to do this.

Fascinating in its simplicity, with wonderful arched brickwork. One of the oldest buildings in Cremona, founded by a woman. Peaceful and delightful, even to a non-believer like me

This is a beautiful 11th century circular Romanesque church. It is domed and has two orders of columns with a gallery for the women. It was restored in 1908 and looking at the old photographs a great deal of work had to be done on...More

A lovely place that is not as well adorned with relics as other churches. Well worth having a look at.

THis old church was closed, then lost inside later buildings. It has been sympathetically restored/rebuilt and is a little quiet oasis amid the bustle of central Mantua.
