We visited with a tour and it was nice to be able to learn more about this Basilica. I like to gain the history and the stories behind places so tours are of interest to me.

Basilica di san fedele was built in the 12 century . Although the duomo is much better it is still worth a visit .

San Fedele is absolutely beautiful and worth visiting when in Como. Be sure to see the ornately decorated Stations of the Cross, depicting the final days of Christ's life, that are mounted around the wall corners counter-clockwise starting on the far left of the altar...More

A classic basilica, facade and construction, inside nice mosaics and frescoes, nice paintings and sculptures; the basilica is dedicated to San Fedele.

The church itself, despite its history, would only rate a 3 star review from me. I found it dark and frankly not that interesting, with one exception. There was a depiction of purgatory that was the only one I can ever recall seeing in a...More

This church is in the old town of Como and is built in the 12th century. Although smaller and older than Duomo, it is definitely worth visiting when in Como.
