We visited upon arriving in Como and then attended Mass on Sunday during lent. The outside marble looks recently cleaned with many ornate statues. Inside there is a beautiful rotunda and alter area, rosette stained glass window above the entrance and large wooden preaching box on the side before the transcept. Also has a collection of woven tapestries hanging between... More

In town centre of Como. Worth visiting. Dress code for women needs to have shoulders covered. No entrance when mass is on.

I would say Como's Duomo is better than Milan's! It's certainly more colourful and is dominated by the organ pipes set each side of the main aisle. It's a huge space inside as you would expect. And it's free to get in.

Amazing amazing cathedral. Beautiful exterior and amazing interior. Interior decorated with silk carpets on the walls and it looks majestic and its really smart cause Como is well known by his silk industry and silk history. So if you are interested in Gothic architecture you must visit this place!

We wandered past here several times now and think it is such a delight. We ate at a nearby restaurant and enjoyed it changing as it grew darker and the highlights glowed through the evening.

Coming back from lugano to milan city we took a boat tour on the Como Lake . The cathedral is viewed when unboarding the boat,A beautiful nostalgic monument that is must see. Lit a candle snd took a short tour in, but I plan to have a weekend in Como the next time I ' ll visit Italy.
