Citta Alta is very historical and beautiful place. It is great place to go and spend time in walking, exploring, enjoying architecture, food, caffe, gelato, tiramisu ...Beautiful small streets full of history. Riding up the funicular. I liked this place very much!

Expect long queues to ride the funiculars up to La Citta Alta, else be prepared for many cobblestones before reaching the top. Beautiful views below, but a city event was underway the day we chose to visit and incredible crowds, not fun!

We ate at Trattoria del Teatro...excellent food, I tried their home made ravioli in butter sage sauce. Excellent!!!
