The old city is beautiful and worth at least a day of wandering around. The Maria Basilica, restaurants, architecture, narrow streets, shops, etc. are just wonderful to explore.

I have fallen in love with this city. So romantic and relaxing. People v friendly and welcoming. So much to do or not to do. Loads of coffee shops or restaurants to relax and chill away the day.

You can spend hours only wandering on the little streets and look the different houses from 14-16. century. Even if you don't visit at first the famous nonuments it is an extraordinary experience.

Charming old walled city! We stayed here for a few days and very much enjoyed our time. Do a private tour and learn a lot!

I’m sorry I don’t know whether or not the shops are open on a Sunday. I would think many would be as the focus is very much on tourism. I’m sure you could find out by asking locally wherever you are staying. I hope you enjoy... More
