A good place to go if its raining. When my back started hurting, I had difficulty finding a bench or seat to rest on.

We're not usually ones to visit museums but we seemed to have hit Bergamo when there was a fortnight of science related events, places open, etc (Bergamo seems to be a centre for science?) We popped in here for a visit one day in our wanderings. Whilst not great fans of stuffed animals, the displays were interesting and the rooms... More

A very magic place. At entrance a huge mamute gives you welcome. Our children loves. All kind of animals (birds, snakes, fossils, etc). Take time to see everything. We arrived almost midday and the place close 1pm and after opens 2.30pm. Sure we will be back to complete the journey.

While walking around Bergamo Old Town we came to the Musel di Scienze and spent the next half hour enjoying the history of some local developments. Hindered a bit by the lack of english descriptions the visuals were sufficient in many cses.

Situated in a small square this museum is lovely for kids. Lots of stuffed animals and skeletons of bigger creatures. Well worth an hour of you and your children's time.

We enjoyed this small museum that had a lot of taxidermied animals. There were also opportunities to touch the specimens. It is a very good place to take children. We saw a very interesting video about the watering system and fountains in Bergamo.

We have been in this museum last august and we found it very nice. My daughter appreciated the interactive features in the museum (guess the animal's fur, place animal in the world map, etc.). Low cost is an additional attraction.

This place is packed with stuffed animals, ordered by type (birds, fish, mammals, etc.) as well as some dinosaur remains. It was cool to see the collection, but a bit more decor would be great (like putting the animals in their natural habitat). There's also not too much info, just the basic stuff (name, location and whether they're endangered or... More
