Small Pebble beach
Jun 2017 • Family
Suitable for kids as its shallow. As a previous review statens, the pebbles are to the shoreline and then its sand into Med. for a short distance. Our 10 and 7 year old enjoyed building pebble structures. There is a fine roman wall running round the back on a typical Ligurian, narrow road. The hotel in on the beachfront has some beautifully manicured gardens.

An interesting beach
Jul 2016
This shingle beach is in an attractive setting surrounded by mountains to the north. In the water the sea bottom is sandy so despite appearances it is a safe and great beach. Looking out to sea on the right there is a villa in which the famous writer Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa worked on his classic book The Leopard. Behind the beach there is a lovely narrow walled road which according to local folklore was built on the old Roman coastal road

Nice beach
Jul 2016
Visited each day during our vacation in Latte. Pebble beach but nice sand on the bottom after going 2m into the ocean. Suited for children, as it does not get deep that fast.

Can't stand stone beaches
Apr 2016
The above being said, I must add that this beach is small rounded stones and this only applies to the shoreline. When you are into the water there is SAND! What I like of this beach is the crystal clear water. This is why so many yachts and boats lazily linger ashore in front of you, they also love this sea water.
This public beach is free.
An all-important plus is that at the shoulders of the beach there are premises, namely a bar and a restaurant, so if you suddenly feel thirsty or the smells from the aperitif terrace stir you up, it's a matter of seconds to satisfy your urgencies..
