The Hanbury Gardens are situated in glorious countryside with spectacular views of the Mediterranean. The gardens themselves are enjoyable in all seasons with well thought out planting. The café at the bottom serves good snacks and salads as well as excellent Italian coffee!

We were in Italy for a couple of days and a local recommended this beach to us because we were returning to France and it’s very close to the border. In case you wonder where the entrance is, it’s opposite the car park and next...More

A little hard to get to! At the farthest end of what you would consider Ventimiglia, just west of the new marina. There is a tortuous path more or less along the waterfront, but the most direct route is down the hill from the museum...More

Lovely little beach and a nice path to get down to it! A must see in Ventimiglia! Also to our surprise there was a little bar where you can buy drinks from.

The best part of this attraction is actually the hike to get there. There are two options, one that is mostly stairs paralleling one that follows the terrain. It is not strenuous. The views are wonderful all along the way. Giant aloe plants, wild flowers,...More

This may have been a better beach, once upon a time. And it still may be a decent beach, on a perfect day. But it is now a) small, and, b) disappearing. Next door to this beach, which used to be bigger and better (and...More

If you'd like to avoid the rocks of the French and Italian blue coast, this is the beach to go to. You have to take a hike (entrance point is next to the archaeological museum), but it's so worth it to be on a beach...More

As beaches go its quite nice. It was a little busier than I would have liked but then i realised it was a french bank holiday and being so close to the Italian border it was mainly french people who had descended that day. Water...More
