    Picturesque Boccadasse! Worth the trip!
It is a lovely postcard picturesque village! Beautiful sunny and cool day made it a pleasant visit. You can also stroll along the Anita Garibaldi promenade just next to the church. Plenty of photo opportunities here, as what you see on the web and postcards. Worth the trip! Easy to get there...its a short trip by bus 42 from Dante 2, near Ferraria fountain.

    Splendid
The town itself is centred around a small picturesque inlet , with brilliant views of the Gulf of Genoa. Although the pebble beach was small and fairly busy, it felt like there was plenty of space to sit on the beach. Around the inlet are dotted various bars and restaurants , all with outside seating space. The bars will also serve you a beer in a plastic cup if you want to explore the town with a drink in hand. It took us 20 minutes to reach Boccadasse on the bus from outside Genoa Brignole station, at a cost of €2 each way. Purchasing tickets for the bus can be confusing but there are a few newsagents outside the main station which sell tickets. The bus stop for Boccadasse is adjacent to the main village. I would fully recommend a visit here if you are in the Genoa area.

    Great small beach.
Out the cruise ship and we got a taxi to this location. Taxi was very friendly and gave us his number so we could call him to drive us back to the cruise. Amazing small beach with clear water. Better get there earlier so it is empty. After 12.00 it was very full and no places to sit anymore. We had a local espresso and fresh pizza from a small place at the beach. There are some restaurants around, ice cream shop and a beautiful church. All worth a visit! It is difficult to find a taxi. Better to arrange pick up before going.

    Lovely place to visit!
A beautiful place to visit. It cost us €16 in a taxi from Genoa Royal Palace Museum. The small Beach Cove is lovely and I had the best pistachio gelato/ice cream I ever tasted at Amedeo Antica GELATERIA. You can easily spend a few hours here people-watching. I filmed my experience on my YouTube channel vickisworldtravel if anyone is interested.

Boccadasse is beautiful, with spectacular views! I'd like to share my experience though when walking on the boardwalk.A man was selling roses and kept following me to buy roses for 1 euro. I said no many times, but he insisted and finally placed a bouquet on my backpack and said it was free. I was sorry for him, and decided to pay him 1 euro. When I opened my backpack to reach my wallet, he started to put on the flowers over my backpack, so my instant reaction was to remove them, when he reached my wallet and stole my money. I couldn't see it, but had the feeling I was robbed. When I got back to my ship, I could verify that the money was gone. So be aware of these guys. I should have known better....

Lovely neighborhood in Genoa. We live in the center, right by the great fountain, and we walked out via the promenade. It took us about 1 hour. You can also take bus to and from, there is bus no. 31, and it takes about 15 minutes from Genoa Brignole (train station). Bus tickets must be purchased at the tobacco shops located close to the bus stops, but these are closed on Sundays - OBS!

I declare this little fishing district of Genoa my favorite place
4 kilometers from the city center via Corso Italia by the sea, this neighborhood nestled in a small cove where you can have a drink facing the sea
You can get there by bus line 42.

If you like long walks, it is a lovely long walk from Genoa Brignole, mainly along the promenade for most of the way. Whilst the views are spectacular, the town and beach are not. My advice would be venture a bit further by train to Camogli. This is a beautiful town, once a fishing village, with even more spectacular views, lovely harbour, boat trips to see whales and dolphins and really good great value restaurants, which do set price tourist menus.
You could do both, have a great long walk to Boccadasse and then spend a day or most of in Camogli

Boccadasse is unique, a beautiful seaside village in the city of Genoa.
To describe the beauty of Boccadasse just one word "wonderful" . When you arrive on the terrace of the church and see it down on the sea you are amazed at its splendor. Already Boccadasse is worth a visit to Genoa which is beautiful and pleasant in its "carruggi", its palaces, its squares and its churches. Go there and you'll be ecstatic too

Nothing to say about this magnificent village in my city. When you want to get away from everything a little, a stop in Boccadasse to breathe the sea air and hear the waves is a wonderful thing. The colors and the atmosphere envelop you and it's enchanting

We visited this adorable fishing village in January and everything was shut. But we were there at sunset and just took it all in. It's a beautiful place. I would go again tomorrow. If you are going in the off-season- bring your own wine and sandwiches. Sit on a bench and enjoy a different way of life.

Genoa is magnificent, we visited Galata the sea museum with the submarine, really beautiful, worth seeing. To eat I recommend Trattoria delle Grazie and Trattoria da UGO, the best pesto in Genoa
Then walk to Boccadasse, tiring but worth it

The old part of Boccadasse is very pretty and picturesque. It is also very touristy, so dont expect to be there alone. If you eat at one of the restaurants, expect higher prices than in Genoa, and dont expect too much. If you have enough time whilst in Genoa, I would include a visit to Boccadasse, but I wouldnt go out of my way to do so.
