Great rock sculpture

The sculpture is very easy to see. Easily accessible via public transportation, or via a beautiful drive down a windy mountain path.

This sculpture is near the train station, a really quick walk. You can access the beach area for free and take the photos.

Perhaps it was simply because it was our first trip to Italy and to Monterosso al Mare, but everything about this town I found amazing and beautiful. And to see this from the beach and to know it was built in 1910...the history, the stories this statue could tell if could talk...to be standing there was simply amazing.
