Walk into the doors and be astounded by the wonderful and elaborate costumes worn by opera singers of the past. The museum is in a good looking place with an interesting facade and beautiful interior ( superb staircase, elegant rooms) The collections of opera costumes, costume jewelry, librettos, posters, musical instruments are interesting for those who have a special interest in theater but also for the general public. The building is magnificient from the outside. The exibition is very nice, but not so big (in ten rooms let's say). The staff is very friendly, keeping the luggage even few hours. I recommend to visit it.

On our tour of Trieste we happened upon this wonderful museum of theater both opera and puppetry.
