It's so disappointing to go to the Dukes' Palace and find out that it is occupied by the Carabinieri and that, therefore, it cannot be visited! Move the carabinieri to the Grand Hotel but allow tourists to see this building...

Unfortunately today the Palazzo is the home of the carabineri, so you can't visit it. It is in a very nice surrounding, the park is beautiful.

lovely to have a walk around - you'll notice lots of ducks, shaded areas, and locals having lunch. good spot for a little break.

This "palace" is situated at the beginning of this lovely park. I wandered over to it but couldn't gain access (not sure if one can). But I came away awed that the person(s) who once dwelled here had quite an impressive yard (the park)!

The palace is located inside the Dukal park, 5 minutes walk from the Palazzo Pillota crossing the river. It was built in 16 th century for Ottavio Farnese. Inside is very beautiful from the pictures seen in the books, there is a famous "bird room"....More

In the morning you can go to the gate near the Palazzo and ring the bell. You can get a tour (no guide) in the Palazzo.
