Must see the Modena Cathedral. Very pleasant visit. The chorus in the upstair floor is magnificent. Also the colored glass over the entrance is a piece of art

Maybe the Duomo is not impressive in terms of size as other churches in Italy but both its exterior and interior are full of discoveries. I particularly like the terra-cotta opera in the left side, among other precious parts. Discover yourself!

Peaceful, beautiful, not 'over the top' cathedral. In fact the whole of Modena was the same. Definitely recommend visiting if you're anywhere near here.

The Cathedral of Modena is wonderful. I've been in different cathedrals and churches in Italy, but this fascinates me specifically. It is one of the sites that must see and feel its atmosphere of calm and peace.

Breathtaking, you know that places when you see them. Had a good walk around and it just left me speechless. I am having a kind of Stendahl sindrome here. Must see.

everyone would like it, but after the hard climb to the tower upset the bars on the Windows and the image of the city is very poorly visible.

The Duomo of Modena is probably not as popular as the other duomos in Italy but it's gorgeous and majestic. When you step inside you can't help but admire each single pillar, painting, vault, capitel and sculpture. Whether you're religious or not this place gives you an immense sense of peace, spirituality and, at the same time, it's like a... More

One of the best cathedrals in Italy and in the world, from 1099. Close by the Ghirlandina Tower and the Piazza Grande to complete the painting
