The city centre is pretty small, so you'll eventually find yourself here even if you hadn't planned on it- and you'll be glad you did. The architecture and wall paintings are worth it alone!

Beautiful old building that used to be the main market just outside the city, where all roads meet. The building is still in pretty good condition for its age.

I just love the colors of the buildings in the city center. If you are in Bologna you can't miss this palace.

We loved walking a lot to discover this amazing city. Finally this lovely little square had public benches where one could just sit, rest and enjoy the surrounding architecture, shops, cafes and plaques (in Italia & English) that described this historic location.
