the expected mediocrity of the american culture is invadind europe
The clerks and operators work very ernestly and deserve our respect. This is the only good point. All the rest is pointless. Farinetti imported this plastic and artificial project from the worst of the american culture. This place is not doing anything to highlight the traditions and variety of the italian cousine. Other than that, this concept is extremely dangerous and violent towards the culture of the italian people. Avoid this place and rather go to the hystorical centre and have a real Italian meal by any mamas and papas restaurant which are still present at every corner.

Great place for a foodie
I believe that if you this place without Corona it would be a completely different place. We could park in front of the door at P1, with only 20-30 cars or so. In door the place was like a scence from the walking dead.
We had a tasting ticket. Which means that you are guided to 4 stands, have a couple of bites and someone that tells someting about it. It’s nice as a kick off for the place.
You can have a lot of food and drinks for little money.
Overall; if you’re a foodie, please go there.

Empty souless place

We walked here from local shopping centre. Large exhibition hall with lots of things closed and not many people. There is no public transport back into town and taxi driver cheated us adding a €8 night time rate at 2pm.

We had an excellent seafood pasta and glass of wine for lunch. The building is an old church, which was cool and peaceful after a busy morning sightseeing.

We liked it
Sep 2020
My husband and really liked this place. We were here for six hours. We did the guided tour, she was ok I’m not quite sure she wanted to be there, however she did take us around and explain that there is a university next door and they come and do stuff with the animals and plants. We also did the pizza making we loved it. They don’t know any other language than Italian so we were lucky and another guy who was taking the class translated for us. We made our pizzas and then the pizza guy did tell us to go out of the restaurant to eat it which we thought was strange but we did it. We definitely got over 10,000 steps there is so much to see for sure. The jam at the jam store is amazing and she let us try some. We bought the pistachio, blueberry and the spicy one omg they are amazing! We ate lunch at the truffle restaurant and had the pasta with fungi and my husband had the ragu he liked it. The outdoor eating is just so relaxing. We also stopped by the wine place had a few glasses of wine, I did notice of the three groups we were the only ones who didn’t receive any snacks with our order. We are Americans, but we live in Italy and she acted like she couldn’t be bothered with us, brought the wine and never came to ask if we wanted more. All in all I would come back, I just thought this place was amazing to walk around. My husband liked it as well. I saw kids having a blast on the bikes you can ride and scooters you can rent. You have to go. Our cab ride from our hotel was $16 euro our hotel was near train station. Have fun!

Our tour guide was not really excited about showing us around.
Feb 2020
Apparently her friends were eating a a restaurant inside and she was more interested in what they were doing than showing us. As soon as we would start talking to someone else (vendor, chef, etc..) she immediately went to her phone and we would have to wait till she finished her texting.

Food Theme Park 👨🏽🍳
Jan 2020 • Couples
We went on a Thursday morning and the place was pretty much empty, although that did not matter. It was amazing. There was a large Italian group tour running and only my wife and I looking for an English tour. They got someone to do the tour for us and it was so fantastic. You can easily walk past the many great things without realising it, so I’d encourage you to take your time and fill your tummy slowly with all of the AMAZING food. We were there for about 5 hours.

Nice place for kids
Dec 2019 • Family
We visited this place with kids and they really enjoyed the farm which is an indoor playing area but apart from that...it did not make a huge impression on me other than the fact that you can buy all sorts of food and products related to food from chocolate to pasta. There are also decent restaurants indoor that you can eat so i guess it makes it a good spot on a bad rainy day to take your kids for play.

Goodmorning, thanks for visiting us and for leaving this review. FICO shows Italian excellences and production processes. Here you can watch about 40 production sites at work and taste Italian food, from North to South. Everyday we offer many different activities for kids and adults. It is possible to learn how to make pasta, pizza, gelato, chocolate, mortadella and much more or you can decide to walk throughout the park together with a guide. We hope to see you again!

Come è organizzato l'accesso Post covid? Grazie
Silvia
Pianoro, Italy46 contributions

Ciao e buon divertimento
